If there's a profit to be made, there's a market for anything. Historically, Le is building the Yumecom for himself as a passion of love, so I can't see him taking on any form of partner, marketing agreements, or other sort of finical considerations with strings attached.

I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself.
Le Trung should concentrate on getting one Aiko operational first.
The public appearances and Youtube clips thus far, were of the stuff of pride, and to get funding.
Manufacturing Aiko would be like cloning your girlfriend and selling clones of her to the highest bidder.

Le has stated he will only build Aiko and her "family" in Canada.

Aiko is "MADE IN CANADA"
I was raised and educated in Canada and feel I have a deep connection with this country. I will do whatever it takes to ensure that all future mass production of Aiko’s sisters will be built in Canada. I want to give back jobs to skilled Canadian people and keep Aiko technology within Canada.

I sorta PM'ed Alex the other, politely stating that Le has pretty much devolving Aiko as a personal self-project. I hoping Le has been in contact with Alex in regards to his inquiry.

Robot is a comprehensive range of technology products, especially computer technology, electrical and mechanical works.When the maturity of the technology development ,and the research has the market value.I think that the next era is the era of the robot.Military robots, industrial robots have been the progressive realization of commercial,Commercial and civilian robot market has not yet been developed.There are many opportunities in the market.So I wish I could seize the opportunity to success in the robot age!

Now I do not have monye, technology, policy support and other related resources.But I have a strong passion to found the largest robot company in this world.Maybe many people think I am a madman .

No it wouldn't. It seems you don't understand that this robot is a robot and not a person: it's a product. Some of you posters are insane: the ethics that prevent you from aquiring a female for yourself you would like to use to make this endeavor be a prototype and a prototype only.
Anyway I would think a production line would have a few diffrent models so as to hit most of the various demographics (diffrent ethnicities are attracted to diffrent things).

China just cloned a mouse from a mouse skin cell btw, if they ever figure out how to clone organs it will be possible to clone girls (womb + clone = manufacturability). I'm sure you'd have a problem with that as those clone girls would be sold of to men when they were young, would be having relations with their husband by 12, and would not be indoctrinated with feminist beliefs, and also would crash the "meat market" so that all men may have the wives they wanted. You would think this is unethical because it would be good for men. Hopefully China doesn't have such problems.

Akio: mass production might not be possible in canada. The problem is that you'd have to build up the factory yourself, provide all the capital, and then get all the permits from the governement (maybe impossible). In china, if you have a product, there are allready many factories ready to build whatever you need, all you need is your product and a partner in china.

Are you suggestion that China is in a better place to be capable to mass-manufacture high-technology than Canada!? While China may be able to turn around a product with a lower cost of conversion than Canada, I'm more than sure that Canada's manufacturing base is several generations ahead of China in QA, meeting ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and ability to deliver deadline. Last time I checked Canada was more than capable of manufacturing hi-technology. Canada is not some backwater third world country incapable of building a robot. I would be more than willing to bet that Canada is technology and finical more capable in building and finical a manufacturing complex than China.

Um, China cloned a mouse!? We did that here in the states nearly 17 years ago. We've had cloning capabilities for nearly 11 years. Scotland cloned a sheep in 2000, we cloned a goat less than six months later in 2001.

We cloned mice using egg cells.

These are comparitivly hard to get: you have to have a donor etc, surgically extract them.

China has clone a mouse using a skin cell from a mouse: they reprogamed that skin cell and were able to grow a fully viable mouse from it.

Skin cells are easy to get: you just scrape one off the surface of an organism.
They are also easy to multiply.

I don't understand why you, the fool, do not understand the diffrence between these two technologies.

Where have you been? We've sold it all off (yes, the machines were bought and shipped out, you fool.)

Canada or USA or Japan.

Why?
I was rasied and educated in these countries, would like to keep the technology where I was educated and give back jobs to skill people.
In additional, it's not about how fast or how cheap you can make, it's about quality and QA.

Those are my strict conditions for all investors, that's why investors don't like my policies

Somewhere on this site it says Aiko was made in China.
I guess that was a typo.

I think Japan would have more use for her (as a loving companion) than China would anyway.
I said companion because they make a strict distinction between robots and dolls.
Dolls are used for sex and sexual fetishes, while robots are used as servants and companions.

Le, you’re right and you have the right to build Aiko any where you chose she is your dream.

I don’t think I would have a problem with your polices (the 3 I just read so far).
As far as I know Aiko is in and from Le. I believe parts are meaningless till someone puts them together and makes something new. So would it be correct to say Aiko was built by Le in Canada.

As for production, parts could be made in anyone or all 3 of the countries Le has chosen. I think some people forget Aiko is a robot and will need servicing somewhere along the line, I don’t think people will want to send something the size of a fridge through UPS or FedEx.

As for time, we’re trying to build something as complex as the Apollo Land Rover or even more so. And with that much complexity quality has to be built into her so that she will last.

As for price, I sell $10,000 and $20,000 dollar embroidery sewing machine to people how put them in their homes. I have them fill out a credit apt and send it electronically; it comes back and says good or not. It’s like buying a car and a car only gets you from a to b, Aiko could save your life, free up your time and do so much more. I don’t see a problem with price.

I’m sorry I just don’t see a problem with what Le is asking, maybe I’m wrong, and maybe I’m missing something here.
