HTML5, pivacy issues, security issues, and ISP police

Post  Arti on Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:12 pm

Mozilla is deceiving you when it says it will keep your privacy.
I suggest everyone do the following:

In the URL bar, type about:config.
You will see a popup warning of warrenty loss, just continue.
Go to Geo.enabled by typing geo in the search bar.
The default setting is true.
Toggle this to say false.

On each Firefox update, open the config, and see if it has changed.
Ever since v3.5, Firefox has been supporting Google without our consent, and Google is now working with the CIA without our consent (we kinda knew this would happen ever since Google Earth came online).

Are the "cool" features of HTML5 really worth it?
